I chose to come to Auckland in New Zealand because I have to learn English, and I was looking for a different, beautiful and peaceful place. Here I can find everything and more, because the people are amazing and very friendly with the foreigners. I am studying English in the Kaplan Aspect school. The teachers are very qualified, the place is comfortable and I have good material for my learning. Here I am meeting people from all over the world. In Colombia I had consultancy with Study New Zealand. This company was always with me, since I began my search, during all the process of acceptance in the school,

getting my visa, finding accommodation in Auckland, and now they are ready if I have any question or suggestion. With Study New Zealand I have different institutions to study English.

I am happy about my decision; it is a great experience for my life. Auckland is a marvelous city; I can always see the sea, I love this!! And I can travel to islands, beaches, mountains, lakes, thermal waters and others; all near here. And I can practice different extreme sports. There are many regional parks, I can go there in a bus or rent a car, it is cheap. I have access to different libraries in Auckland, which is important for my study and free time.

Auckland offers many places if I want to go shopping….and I like the night life, because it is fun but secure. I live in Huia residence. I like this place because I have everything here, it is near to school and to the centre, and I always walk to these places.

This is my experience in Auckland. I hope to experience more things and learn English.

We are Marcelo and Cristina. We got married and came to Auckland, New Zealand to study English. We are studying an Intensive Academic Semester in Kaplan Aspect. We took advice from Study New Zealand Company. Study New Zealand showed us the different options to study and stay here. We could choose in accordance with our necessity and budget. And, of course, New Zealand is a beautiful country and the people are friendly. Come on and enjoy it.

I’m Gabriel, I’m 30 years old and a lawyer from Manizales Colombia. I have been in Auckland, New Zealand for 8 weeks pursuing a course in English language at Kaplan-Aspect.

This experience has been pleasant for me. I had many expectations about this course and Auckland City, and really it’s exceeded my desire.

I found Study New Zealand to be the best consultancy and I don’t have any problems; on the contrary, every day I think that it has been a good investment for my life.

I have met people from al over the world; at Kaplan-Aspect Auckland there are students from more than 26 different nationalities. This experience isn’t possible to find in many countries, moreover, it’s invaluable, to be able to speak and to know other cultures and customs.

At present, I live in Huia Residence, which is a big comfortable building, people from all over the world live there, whether students, workers and other citizens.

Also, I can practice my knowledge speaking with my neighbour.

Las razones principales por las cuales escogi Nueva Zelanda para realizar mis estudios de aprendizaje de Ingles, fueron basicamente dos la primera porque es conocido como un pais con magnificos paisajes, la presencia de multiples culturas y la segunda por el bajo porcentaje de hispano hablantes en el pais.

Ahora que me encuentro aca puedo decir que definitivamente mis expectativas frente a este pais se han superado significativamente; Nueva Zelanda en un pais bellisimo asi como sus habitantes conocidos como Kiwis; en la familia con la que vivo me han aceptado e involucrado en sus vidas como un miembro mas de la familia, cada fin de semana me llevan a conocer un lugar nuevo fuera de la ciudad y han sido un apoyo incomparable para la evolucion de mi idioma.

Mi experiencia en Embassy Ces ha sido muy satisfactoria, he encontrado nuevas amistades de muchos lugares del mundo con los cuales compartimos no solo el tiempo de estudio sino tambien paseos que todos los viernes el colegio organiza y otros que organizamos por nuestra cuenta. Viajar dentro del pais es realmente muy facil, todo el tiempo hay paquetes promocionales y varias empresas que ofrecen multiples destinos y variedad de tarifas, realmente vale la pena conocer este pais.
Mi nivel de ingles en solo un mes de estadia aca paso de un punto en el cual nadie me entendia y yo no le entendia a nadie a lograr tener las conversaciones basicas con el chofer del bus, poder solicitar por mi cuenta informacion sobre rutas o en un supermercado, adquirir productos o poder orientar y brindar informacion a un desconocido en la calle.

Puedo decir que me encuentro muy contenta con la eleccion que hice al venir a Nueva Zelanda no solo por la increible evolucion de mi idioma sino porque he encontrado gente maravillosa y nuevas amistades donde se han creado lazos de fraternidad muy fuertes hallando aqui casi que una nueva familia, nuevos hermanos con distintas culturas y tradiciones pero con corazones iguales al mio lleno de suenos y expectativas.

Conocí de Study New Zealand (SNZ) aproximadamente en el mes de Mayo del año en curso por medio de un familiar que estaba buscando un intercambio escolar para un pariente. La información suministrada por SNZ y su representante Shane Ball vía correo fue estremecedora dada la cantidad de oportunidades para estudiar en Nueva Zelanda, un país hasta ese momento extraño para mi. No sabía donde quedaba, que clima tenía, como era la gente, y sobre todo lo que a los colombianos a veces nos inquieta de ir a otros países “como nos tratarían”; bueno ya saben, por todos los problemas políticos y civiles que vive Colombia en estos momentos. Revisé la información, analicé las opciones y me puse en contacto con SNZ.

Desde el principio la atención del Sr. Shane fue excelente, dándome más información, links para conocer vía Internet más de Nueva Zelanda, y sobre todo despejando todas mis dudas. Muchos piensan que de eso no dan tanto de gratis, y sobre todo en Colombia donde se cobra hasta la risa, porque la verdad una persona que te colabore sin pedir a cambio nada, no se consigue en muchos lugares. Pero SNZ es una entidad seria, como lo es su director y puedo decir con certeza “que todo lo que allí se ofrece es 100% verdad y real; sin problemas, sin mentiras, nada que ocultar”.

Living with a kiwi family is a really good experience, I think it’s the best way to Know the culture and to practice English as well. Kiwi people are friendly and they try to help you to improve the language all the time. I’m studying in Taylors College and it’s a good school, it has 3 kinds of courses: Standard, semi-intensive and Intensive; I’m in the last one. In this course you can improve your listening, reading and writing. What’s more, the school has a nice method to learn another language, I mean that is not

only grammar and vocabulary classes, we also have conversation classes and activities where you can play, cook and travel; so, you always enjoy the school.

Furthermore, every Friday we have trips which allow you to explore the city and it’s another way to improve English. For example, I’ve had trips to the Zoo, the Museum, the Aquarium, Hot pools, Theme parks, Ice cream factory, Ice-skating, etc.

On the other hand, this country has amazing scenery and you can travel around the Island very easy. If you are a student you have a discount and travelling here is really worth it.

In New Zealand you can meet people from different countries and It’s a wonderful experience; making friends here is not difficult and you can share with them lovely moments.

I think this country is a good choice to learn English because there aren’t a lot of people that speak Spanish, and also, It’s a beautiful place where you can enjoy one part of your life.
